What size bike is right for me?

Finding your perfect bike fit is just like finding clothes that fit.

Only trying it on for size will really tell you how well it fits so we always recommend a personal visit to our shop.

Having a few body measurements will certainly help get you in the right direction when shopping online and will even allow you to rule out easily identifiable ‘too big’ or ‘too small’ bikes, but nothing will truly confirm that a bike is the right one for you until you take it for a spin. Don’t forget saddle height and handlebar height are easily adjustable by our staff.

Inseam measurement is the most commonly used size, this is from your crotch, where the saddle would be, to your foot which would be on a pedal. Stand over height is what you are looking for this is your inseam plus another 1-2 inches for comfortable clearance of that top tube. Road bikes can require less stand over while mountain bikes and comfort bike can be more.
